Student Vote is pleased to announce its new partnership with Operation Dialogue for the 2010 Talk About Canada Quiz. 

Leading up to and including Canada Day, students are invited to learn about our country’s history through an online quiz at www.talkaboutcanada.ca.  

The quiz includes 40 multiple-choice questions about prominent Canadians and historical events covering arts, culture, politics and recreation. The quiz is designed to improve students’ knowledge, so each question includes weblinks to background information about each possible answer. 

In total, $10,000 in scholarships and cash prizes will awarded to students who complete the quiz correctly.   

There will be a draw for 9 scholarships of $1000 for any students registered for post-secondary education in September 2010.  There will also be ten cash prizes of $100 for high school students or anyone not enrolled in post-secondary education.
