Parental Involvement There is an overwhelming body of research that shows that parental involvement in education has a positive and lasting impact on a child. Whether you've got a little bit of time or a lot, there can be a place for you!
Catholic School CouncilsCatholic School Councils play a key role in our schools. Councils are tasked by the province to make recommendations to their principal or to the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board on any matter affecting the school community. If you have leadership skills you'd like you share with a Catholic School community, we encourage you to consider seeking a position on School Council.
The following are some board materials that describe the mandate of council and some guidelines around them.
