    GRADE 9 ORIENTATION BBQ
    September 2, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

    FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
    September 8

    Students entering grade 9 will get their timetables at the grade 9 barbeque OR on the first day of school in September.  Scheduling is still in process, and timetables are subject to change.  Thank you for your co-operation.


      
    GRAD TRIP - A WARNING FOR PARENTS

    Parents may have heard about a ‘grad’ trip or ‘S’ trip from your graduating student.

    Please be advised that this is NOT a school sanctioned event. St. Ignatius High School  does not organize grad trips. These trips are organized by a private company and are in no way approved by nor affiliated with our school or school board.

    Parents are advised to do due diligence and contact the company directly for complete details. We have no contact details nor information about the trip - your student should be able to provide it to you.

    Students can find out about volunteer opportunities by checking the information areas in Student Services or www.volunteerthunderbay.ca Volunteer hours will NOT count during the times the student is supposed to be in class.  For further information about the community involvement requirement, please click the link on the left.     UNIFORMS
    Please be advised that students must wear their uniform, black pants / shorts / skirts and crested tops or they will be sent home.

    ELECTRONIC DEVICES
    All electronic devices including cell phones and MP3 players are not allowed in the
    classroom as these items are disruptive.
