Thankful Thursdays

Bishop Gallagher is proud to inform you that A&P on River Street has agreed to continue to support our Fresh Fruit Program. A&P is providing our students with fruit on Thursdays, at a discounted cost to our school.

The Fresh Fruit program is a Living School Initiative. Staff and students, both feel that this initiative encourages better eating habits.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mary Mannella a member of Bishop Gallagher's School Council who has volunteered to collect, clean and sort the fruit for us before it is distributed to all of the students. Thanks also to her daughter Amanda and nephew Austin who assist. We can always use some more help and support from you, the parents. If you can volunteer to assist us with this worthy program please contact Mrs. Taylor at the school.

The Mannella Family who assists in the pick-up, washing and sorting of the fruit are on the below right.
