Welcome To Holy Family School
This month, we celebrate the virtue of FORGIVENESS.
It is the power to forgive and be forgiven that dwells in each of us. We remember that God our Father loves us unconditionally and forgives us for our mistakes, and that we grow more like Jesus by the way we love and forgive one another. This month, we examine our hearts to see if we truly are able to forgive others, especially when we have been really hurt by their words or actions. We are reminded that forgiveness is a gift to ourselves as we let go of the burden of resentment when we forgive another person.
Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us.

HOLY FAMILY SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
Holy Family School is located in a semi-rural area of the south ward of the city. The community is comprised of mostly single homes. There are several commercial or industrial businesses within the school boundaries.
The school was built in 1963 and contains 13 classrooms, a gym, library and a resource room. There are 292 pupils in the school from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6. All speak English as a first language.
The teaching staff is experienced, energetic and willing to give extra time to those in need of extra help.
Parent support in the school is exceptional. Whenever the request is made, parents are willing to help with pupils in the classroom, library and for excursions and fundraising. As well, they support school activities such as concerts, celebrations and special events. The Catholic School Council is very active in school activities.
