School Profile

St. Elizabeth is one of the 22 schools in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, and one of 16 elementary, which houses 317 children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Six. Our school draws parishioners from many churches including St. Elizabeth and St. Anne Parish.

We are committed to providing each student with quality education in a Christ Centered community that integrates home, church and school in the development of the whole child.

Over the past few years, there has been some teacher turnover, so the staff is experienced and very familiar with the children, their needs, and our families. The experienced staff and the newer staff work collegially to deliver the curriculum in dynamic ways. We continue to have the best of both worlds in our academic complement: seasoned veterans, and enthusiastic young teachers. This is the 3rd year with present Administration of the school.

Staff members work with an enthusiastic Catholic School Council to promote a safe, enjoyable and productive learning environment for our students.
